    Hello,
I am new to the forum. Recently I replaced the NSS on my 2005 automatic transmission Tacoma, however the connector on the old wiring harness was damaged. Toyota only has the connector with no terminals or wires. Does anyone know where I can get a new or used pre-wired pigtail (connector with wires)?
    Thanks so much,
    Don V

Thank you for the wiring diagram! Does anyone know if these connectors can be purchased pre-wired with the connectors and several inches of wire included?
    Thanks,
    Don V.

More than likely, you can't buy the assembled connector from Toyota. You buy the connector body and as many repair wires as what's in the original connector. Look at the face of the connector where it plugs into the nss. There will be a number molded into it. Give that number to the dealer to match up the connector.

The connector, pins and everything you need to replace the connector is on Amazon, except crimpers. Use part number 90980-12362 $25 with tax.

I found the assembled connector with pigtails (can give a link if needed), but does anyone know the part # for this entire harness / have a diagram showing all its branches? I only need to replace the male amp connector (the pins on the prndl switch corroded off and are stuck inside the male half) but there is basically no slack in the harness to pull enough wire down to solder on the new connector.

You could solder in more wire to give you some slack...Just use some waterproof heat shrink.

Does anyone have a nice diagram for the connector like this but for a 2000. My connector only has 8 wires (I know which wire needed to be deleted) and it fell apart in my hand as I was trying to splice in another pigtail. The wire colors are different.

Hey y'all my 02 Tacoma NSS CONNECTOR on the wire harness side is crumbling. I tried to follow the links in the thread but all are dead ends. Anyone know where I can get a pigtail or just the connector? Not from dealer.
    Thanx

I got lucky at the salvage yard and got one from a 4 runner. Different wire colors but the plug was the same. This gave me fits but I finally got it. You can make a little jumper and bypass the switch until you find the plug.
