I've purchased BajaDesigns Squadrons to use as fog light and for now I'm going to connect the lights up to the truck's existing fog light wiring. Once I have a couple other parts of the build figured out I'm going to switch to the BajaDesigns wiring harness which will leave the truck's fog light connection open. I live in SoCal so water isn't something we see often but it does rain occasionally and when off-roading I expect to run across at least a few water crossings here and there. Does the truck connector need to be sealed up somehow and if so what's the best way to do that? Just tape it up with electrical tape or duct tape or....?

Perfect - as it turns out I think those are already in the box with the lights in case I wanted to do my own wiring harness, just need to get some dielectric grease. Thanks!

Yes! I have the same thing with the plugs for the parking sensors and blind spot monitoring system... I've bagged andd ziptied them but occasionally road salt wiggles in and triggers the Blindspot mirrors in the winter..
