This is not a selling ad and I won't sell to anybody that wants to buy it through this channel. I will be posting on FB Marketplace soon, but I need some help with trying to figure out what price to sell my Tacoma for.

I am selling my Tacoma to make way for a more practical car. I'm the second owner and have had it for a little over 7 years now. It has 131k on it and the past 5 years I've been working from home. So it has either been used on trips to the store or the occasional weekend when I went camping/offroading out to Borrego Springs, Anza Borrego Desert, Ocotillo, or Big Bear.

It has been well maintained, runs great, all electronics work, and has no issues. I have done oil changes every 3000 - 4000 miles and it recently got new brake pads and front rotors. I am selling with the aftermarket parts and know I won't get what I paid for them, but it's hard to figure out how I should price it. I'd say the overall body/paint condition is Fair. No dents/dings, but typical faded Tacoma paint on the right front fender and along the door jam on the driver's side. But other than that, the paint seems good, especially for a 2007.

I realize I will narrow my buying field by selling it as it is with all the after market parts, but I'm patient and willing to wait for the right buyer who wants a ready to go offroad/camping/overlanding rig. I know they will be really happy with it.

All parts are original, except for the following:

Icon Rear Heavy Duty Leaf Springs

    Icon Rear Shocks

    Blistein 5100 Front Shocks

Hooke Road Tacoma Rear Bumper w/Swing Out Spare Tire Carrier

TJM Heavy Duty Front Bumper (Brand New)

Badlands Winch (Brand New - Never Used)

Truck Cap with Yakima Roof Rack

Solamar Roof Top Tent (I may not include this in the sale)

Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic Awning 270 (driver's side)

Hooke Road Roof Rack Cargo Carrier

Hooke Road Tacoma Flat Tailgate Cover Panel

Rear Eaton E-Locker (Yup, it has a rear locker)

BFG KO2 All Terrain Tires (265/75/r16)

Full-Size Spare Tire BFG KO2 All Terrain Tire (265/75/r16)

    RedRock Premium Molded Fender Flares

Dual Battery System with Blue Sea Systems Charging Relay (connects the batteries when the engine is on, and disconnects them when the engine is off)

    5 Gallon Shower

    Light Bar and Roof Lights

Any thoughts on what I could reasonably get for this guy? Appreciate any guidance.

NOTE: The TJM heavy-duty bumper and Badlands winch were installed after this picture was taken. I'll add another photo tomorrow that shows them.

Take off as much as you (easily) can and sell that stuff separately. Not only will you attract more buyers for the truck but you'll make more money. At a glance, personally what I would remove is:
    • Tent
    • Topper
    • 5 gal shower (not sure what this is)
    • Awning
    • All the aftermarket lights except maybe the light bar on the front
    • Snorkel (probably a pain to remove but most people won't want that)
Then I'd paint the hood (and fender if you put a new one on after removing the snorkel) - having a different color makes it look like it was in a crash.

After all that's done I'd list it for $15k and see what happens. If it doesn't sell then keep lowering the price until it does, sounds like you're not in a rush so don't lower it too quickly, just when you feel like enough time has passed.

That will have the most drastic effect on the price.

and i hate to bare bad news, but all the add-ons really will not increase the resale value of the truck.

Try to sell all the camping gear separately, if you want to get more money.
