I'm looking to pull the trigger on a new 2024 Sport. Does Anyone have a lead on the best priced dealer in SoCal? Maybe a fleet manager at one of the local dealerships?

    Thanks
    Kirk

I just bought a new 2024 4Runner from Toyota of Escondido. I went thru their Internet guys, call over there and ask for Steve Uyneyo, internet sales. They were receptive to me "leaning on them" a little for price, very professional. The day of sale and pick up they had me in and out of there in 1 hour. I went thru Toyota Credit and then Insured my new 4Runner thru Toyota Insurance. Saved me almost $2,000 a year including my wife's Tesla. (Sold my trusty 2006 Tacoma TRD Off Road) If you message me I'll give you his cell #. Good Luck

Option 1: Go talk to different dealers and find the truck you really want. After that, make an offer... tell them that the other dealer offered you 5k below MSRP for the same truck but you did not like them. Tell them if they can beat the price, you will buy from them. Secure your own financing.

Option 2: if you have a Costco membership just get the price for them for the truck you want.

Dealers will try all kinds of tricks to get more money out of you. Tell them that if they do, you will walk out.

6112's/5160's with Deaver stage 3, GFC camper, Evo 10S and home-built bed drawers. Solar w/100 Ah battery.
There is a possibility you can use the Costco price as a starting point and get them down a little more. Was able to do that with wife's car, though it was about 6 years ago so maybe won't work anymore.

you mean 3k below MSRP. I drive by the Toyota dealer lot every other day..... the amount of Tacomas and Tundras on that long just about quadruple in the past 6 weeks.

Dealers are having a hard time selling vehicles now... you should be able to get a Tacoma way below msrp... 5k or 6k below it...just make offers with 6k below and see what happens..

I buy all my Toyotas from Tustin Toyota even though I live in the San Fernando Valley.

I get them from the internet sales manager, has me in and out of there in 30 mins.

Also free home delivery if you buy it online.

+1 for Costco for easy route to better prices. I’ve used that route (for a Honda) and easy/painless and good price. Done it, worked well.

Can you do better with more worK? Absolutely, find the internet sales people link, tell them (via email only) exactly what you want, tell them email communications only. Some will insist you come in or talk to them. Ignore those dealers. Then pit the best 2 or 3 against each other for a final round. Then follow through and buy the cheapest one. Be ready to drive/fly to get the vehicle. Only agree to talk to people when you have the specifics (including the out-the-door) price agreed via electronic comms.
