Need opinions please satin black or anthracite??

Looking for opinions. I just traded my 2010 Xterra for a Silver 2012 DC SR5 Prerunner and I’ve searched and found picks of the OR wheels in Black and Anthracite. I want to paint them but can’t decide on which color. I asked the wife and she says not to paint them but she drives an Odyssey so not sure she understands. The truck being silver and wheels being silver it needs some contrast. I plan to shave all the emblems and later get a color match surround grill so I want it all to work together.

I had the hardest time choosing a wheel color that goes well with silver...ended up going flat black and I couldn't be happier. ESPECIALLY with the SR5. The flat black mirrors and door handles really set off the flat black wheels nicely.

I just painted a set of TRD OR wheels "graphite" from duplicolor. Really awesome color. I will post up pics when I get home in morning. Color is almost identical to the anthracite. Was going to do the black but just didn't want it. Mating them to a new set of 265/75/16 Duratracs next Wednesday. So yes I vote anthracite!
Don't get me wrong Black looks nice, it's just not what I wanted. Either looks good, but their are far less anthracite wheels than black out there. Just my .02.

I test drove an XTerra the first year they were produced and thought it drove like crap, you must be sooo happy with your Taco! Anthro...

 

Im a huge fan of black rims. Black was my vote, but it's your truck so it's preference.

Hope this helps you decide. I painted my 09 Sport wheels anthracite. I know they are not the OR wheels, but hopefully this helps.

Exact same colour combination on my last vehicle. I would post pics but it was a car so I'm not really thinking it will help you at all.

Your wife has good taste. If my truck had the alloy wheels, I would leave them natural.

 

Anthracite fo sho! This with the TRD caps looks sick. This is def on my future mod list, but seeing all these pics makes me want to do it this weekend.

 

Anthracite... but turn the tires around so the white letters face in.
