If you're wanting a direct replacement, I would do OEM or a true stainless steel replacement. I did one of those $120 Walker Quiet Flo "Aluminized" muffler/tailpipe assemblies. It didn't even last a year. I bought a new OEM assembly and installed myself.

The one that’s on there now is stock Oem , the hole is progressively getting worse. I don’t know if that will make the truck run like crap ? I just thought about replacing it with Oem . I mean if someone knows something special and there is a good aftermarket one I’m open to that too

was it hard to change ?

You can't buy (at least not that I'm aware of) just the OEM Muffler. It's the entire assembly right up to behind the Cat.

A custom muffler shop could probably install a stainless muffler. I considered that, but it was nearly as much as the entire OEM assembly.

Yea I see it looks like the entire pipe, a SS one would probably be a pretty penny I bet

You could do a TRD exhaust.
I'd give you my stock exhaust setup (since I still have it), but shipping to you would be more than it's worth multiple times over.

TrdPro grille, blackout badges. Pretty much stock.
A full cat back install is totally doable by urself, I upgraded to the trd exhaust a few weeks ago and took me an hour, took my time. Wd40 on the exhaust hangers and using channel locks to nudge them out works wonders. That tip was from someone's post here on tacomaworld. If your budget for this isn't at the $500+ level for full ss you can always do a cut and weld performance muffler. The exhaust note is noticeably louder. Cost is about $150 for the ss muffler and install is about $50-$75 at a muffler shop.

I just did this myself and went with the OEM muffler which comes all in one piece with mid and tail pipes. It is a bit more $$ that the aftermarket crap but a perfect fit and made of good materials. The TRD cat back and presumably other might be just a little easier to install since the pipes are separate and get clamped. But I like the clamp less OEM muffler. Quiet and bulletproof. A few things to consider... Just cut the pipes off the old one... makes it a lot easier to remove. If using a new OEM muffler you'll need to have the truck up at least on jack stands to have clearance to wiggle it in. And you will probably have to cut the bolts that hold the front of the mid pipe to the rest of the exhaust up front... and get the specific new hardware kit (shoulder bolts and springs) for that. Oh, and make sure the new shoulder bolt and spring kit you get has nuts since the OEM welded on ones will be gone. Mine just disintegrated from the rust.

My old Taco I went with a Walker quiet flo that had a lifetime warranty. Super cheap and lasted longer then expected. After a few years they replaced it for me at no charge.

Sound only... I suspect if you like the sound of your muffler with the hole in it, which in my case wasn't too terrible, you'd be happy with the TRD. But I like the stock quiet. It does have a nice chrome tip that looks a little better than the stock pipe.
