Need info on a Topper Company called Fast Tops, A Division of Vista Consolidated, inc.

I bought an old topper on OfferUp a few years back for a few hundred dollars. It was a deal I just couldn't pass up since it just happened to be the right fit for my long-bed Tacoma and it was also the same color.

It is from a company called Fast Tops. When I try to look them up, there doesn't seem to be much info out there. Did they go out of business? Or perhaps bought out by one of the larger topper companies?

Just curious if anyone has heard of them and knows anything about them.

Bumping. I just picked up one of these as well and need a new door window for it.
Probably just going to make one out of plexi. Called a few of my local topper companies and they just deal in Leer and Snug top.

 

Dannyreckless Yeah, I've never seen another one of these anywhere. Good luck with the plexi, that sounds like a solid option. The paint on mine is really fading so I'm looking for someone to repaint it, but everything else functions great. A good deal for a few hundred in my book.

I just came across this thread. I too have a topper from Fast Tops; replacement third brake lights are available (I plan on ordering one soon). Best I've been able to figure out is that Vista Consolidated inc owned Fast Tops but went out of business. I'm pretty sure they were buying doors and windows from a third party supplier, but I've yet to measure to see what fits - Mine are intact. Keep an eye out on Craigslist adds and put feelers out in junkyards, plus reach out to the used camper shell dealers - they may know where to get parts or otherwise find one that is pretty beat up with a good window.
Also, most glass companies can cut a window out that will pretty much match up and meet DOT standards.
And actually, I'm looking to either replace my windows or entire top for something that has side opening windows. My Tacoma serves as a work truck, complete with internal drawer system and a bed slider mounted on top of that.
