Hello all, I recently put on a All Pro Off Road front plate bumper and I replaced the stock turn signals with the provided LED turn signals and now when I use my turn signals I get the fast blinkers instead of the normal slower speed. Is there anything I can do to make it stop freaking out?

    Thanks in advance.

I added resistors similar to these when I put a new trailgear bumper on & led blinkers. Hope this helps.

Replace the flasher with one designed for LED's. Since they're not lamps and don't work like lamps your truck thinks you have burned out bulbs. An LED flasher doesn't care. You can also mod the existing flashers but it's a $5-10 fix for the flasher or $5-10 per corner for the resistor so it's up to you price wise.

One of the percs of the LED light is it takes less power to run. Then you add in the resistor and you're right back where you were powerwise. You're just taking all that energy and converting it to heat instead of light. Plus a few people have had their load resistors melt their wiring. So if you go that route make sure you don't have it resting on anything heat sensitive.

LED flasher is the best way to go IMHO

Yeah I wouldn't screw with those load resistors at all. Remove your existing turn signal relay and install the EP35. Done and painless. f9f0aabb6831223a1e1a45f9911f5e76_9e92f64b633a71a1b2be733c3a88a297cb443a78.jpg

I like this. Just buy one of these and install it and I am good to go?

Pretty much. I've been listening to a fast flash for a year or so, got around to buying one about a week ago. I might even install it sometime this year

Someone told me that these replacement flasher don't "reset" the sequence when you turn it off. Like if it's halfway through a "blink", it will pick back up where it left off the next time you use them.

Is this true for the flasher you linked?

Any other weird things I should note? I'm still just using regular old bulbs for turn signals because I really don't want to fudge with all this to make it work.

I have no idea what sequence. but being an LED it doesn't matter since it's immediate on/off for me. even my normal rear turns are fine :notsure:

Hmm okay... so the clicking and everything behaves the same as the stock one with regular bulbs?

Yes it's the one. I have LED's in my CBI off-road bumper. Installed the EP35 and is fine. No more issues.

the one I bought from Auto Zone blinked faster than the one from SBL, not sure if the timer was different or what but I like the SBL one better.
