Everyone is going to tell you not to lube you uniballs cause it will attract dirt

With that said I have the icons with the dust cover caps so mine aren't as exposed
I use the dry lube tri flow. Have had the caps on and covered with the tri-flow a year ago. Took the caps off a couple months ago and they looked like new. Wiped em off, squirted some more in and slapped the caps back on.

    Over and out

Thanks for that info. I got the same ucas with the dust cap. My first question to you is, how often should I lube them? When I remove the caps, should I apply a new adhesive to the caps, or will I be fine just putting back on with the same adhesive. My Last question is am I suppose to lube the underside as well?
    Thanks!

I have the same UCAs. You shouldn't need lube too often. I've heard guys adding that to the maintenance list for when they do the oil change and I've heard others never doing it at all. So really it's a case-by-case scenario. Apple valley is a lot of dust/dirt, but since you have the caps, you should be ok. You also should not need to do the underside. The best advice I heard was to use the dry lube. Let it dry, wipe off the excess and replace your caps (using new double sided tape like 3M for outdoor use)

Ive put about 40k miles on my Camburg UCAs and not one squeak. Found some stuff called DriSlide at a motorcycle shop that was like $30 for a 4oz bottle but its a dry moly lube and works amazing

You will have to replace the adhesive. I have only lubed mine once in a year. I however spray my whole suspension setup with a lube to keep everything from rusting, including the ucas and underside of the uniballs.
Here is some info on the dust caps where I took pics one year later.

And see my posts here and follow up of spraying my whole setup with lube

I finally got the tri flow through Amazon, realized that it's not the dry lube. Is it okay to use it even though it not the dry formula? 20151221_120558.jpg

I personally would only use the dry formula...any other lube that is not dry will not give you good results as dirt and crap will stick to the uniballs even worse and start creaking.

Don't use the "wet" lube. Since the uniball cup is teflon lined, the wet lube can catch small particulates and essentially "pull" them into the teflon surface causing it to wear faster- AKA "squeak!" The dry lube keeps the natural seal intact and still keeps the surface lubricated.

I just ordered the dry formula. I'll just keep this one for something else.
