Alright ladies and gentlemen I need help. I removed my B Pillar vinyl and honestly I'm not a fan. At least now I know. How would I go about replacing it? I've never wrapped anything before and it seems like the wrap is a very specific shape and size to get in the weather stripping. Is there a part number for the vinyl from toyota precut? Surly they plan on it getting damaged and have a way to replace it. Any help would be appreciated. Picture for reference.

I would call a local vinyl shop, shouldn't be that much.

Try tufskinz.com, but personally I think it looks better without the vinyl.

I think it looks much better without it, but it's your truck.

    Maybe you are overthinking it?

    Has anyone mentioned the derp?

Just kidding. I like it the way it is. It's your truck though, go see a vinyl shop. Should not cost much.

+1 for take it to a vinyl wrap shop.

It's really not that hard but just pay a pro to do it right the first time.

To reply to everyone mentioning tuff skinz look at the picture on the page. You can see that they put their product over the vinyl. I don’t think that it is meant to be put on without the vinyl on these vehicles. I just feel like it looks like something is missing on mine now or that it looks like a second gen. Maybe I am over thinking it...

Just get some vinyl from Amazon (any color or pattern) and an application kit (cutting tape *important*, plastic scraper + felt tips, edge cleaner) and a heat gun/hair dryer. All in, it's likely about $30 for all you need. Not a truck, but here's some I applied to a bike with all mentioned tools (pics below). Easy peasy! Although... I can't imagine a vinyl shop would charge THAT much to do it, DIY is just another option.

Edit: Alternatively, I have a few different rolls of vinyl here. Drive to Dallas and bring beer. I'll do it for ya!

Any body shop ( dealer/independent) can order it for you. It's easy to install, or you could have them install.

the guys that do graphics beside our tint shop charge about $25 to wrap that area on most trucks, so it shouldn't cost much no matter where you go.

that said, I honestly like it without it though. I have contemplated taking mine off as well. I just haven't yet. I can always redo mine myself though if I don't like it.

If you redo the vinyl, go for a dark matte grey or something. The black vinyl bugs on the silver trucks most. Something about it looks wrong, which is why I gonzo’d mine as well.

I think the unevenness really “pops” on the silver. Looks fake.
