    Hey guys,
I did some searching but didn't come up with an answer for this. I bought a Scosche double DIN mounting kit for an after market radio and realized it doesn't match the silver interior AT ALL. I'd like to repaint it and was wondering if anyone knew what paint color from the parts house matched most closely.

    Thanks.

if you bought a silver one the color is a little off but after about a month the color will fade a little bit and look closer to the stock silver

Man I wish I had known that before I painted it black. I don't understand why Scosche couldn't just match the color. My Metra kit matched but it was a POS for other reasons

Toyota has 8 shades of silver that I know of.I was a paint tech for a plastic factory that made interior parts for Toyota.Camry,Venza, and Avalon all had different shades.I can tell you that Redspot paint makes the paint.

I would suggest pulling all of the interior pieces and painting them to match if you're up for it, do it dark to match the dash and the other dark interior, it looks so much better. I know I've seen a pic and this is what I'll be doing for myself.

I bought some paint that I thought matched from Advance Auto, got home, and decided I rather not use the color at all. I ended up taking out the silver trim around the AC vents, popping out the vents, and spraying it and the Scosche adapter a silver color to match the truck. I think it worked well.

    Dillon that looks great!

I thought about painting mine a shade darker to match the rest of the dash, but i have a stock radio and plan on keeping it :(

Thanks man. I think I'm gonna pull the surrounding trim from the AC controls and paint it flat black to match the surrounding dash.
