Have you tried part # 8332080307
Toyota doesn’t list or sell the whole Pump Assembly.
It’s broken down by each part in the pump assembly.

I got that number here: https://partsouq.com/en/catalog/genuine/locate?c=Toyota

Then typed in your vin#, Selected -Groups, the. Fuel System.

You can double check me, to make sure it’s correct.

I have a wiring diagram, but I can't find the fuel tank listed in it, does anyone know if the tank is grounded to the frame or it used its own in the plug? PART 1.jpg PART 2.jpg

Here's a breakdown of how Toyota sell the pump.
    23206A is the Pump Bracket
    23220P is the Pump
The parts shown over the pump are all separate also.

The sending unit grounds through the harness Brown Wire so does the fuel pump

The pump uses the White Black Wire to ground

The fuel tank will be grounded by the Chassis ground in any case.

OP, I don’t see the sending unit in your diagrams.
Sometimes it’s under the combination meter / gauges diagram.
So we’ll have to take @Wyoming09 word for it.

The Fuel Pump is powered by the Blue wire.
And Grounded by the White with a black stripe wire.

    Thanks for the help @Wyoming09
I have little to no information on the 95/96 trucks.

Thanks, I'm being attacked by my live TB for my bladder cancer its called BCG so for sure I'm off my mark BIG TIME well just for fun if feelings in my right hand get better I test a known ground to the tank wall, never know making it ground could roundabout fix it, but that's Mickey mouse then the ground in the plug is bad, I hope I can get Carlos who removed the tank to be able to get the plug off without removing the bed again, but the dam thing is in a bad spot

The fuel tank sending unit is included in the combination Meter circuit.

Out of the 96 Tacoma EWD Here you go the complete manual
