I've yet to see/know of anyone selling these other than an autoparts store or a dealer..........mine came with the clips. Did yours fall off or did it just not come with clips?

Are they different on either side? Are you looking for one side or both?

Dealer wanted to sell the whole light. I havent had time to check parts store. I have never had any luck in the past with parts like this in a parts store. I went to change out the bulbs & the clips are missing. Looks like they siliconed them in!!

Is this what you are refering to? I have one headlights that I was using for parts. As long as you pay for shipping you can have the clip.

Reading this thread nearly 5 years after the fact, along with many other similar threads, having the same issue as everyone else trying to find this specific part.

found a thread last week forgot the username, but the guy linked his ebay. they were the same clips, but made for Porsche, the arrived today, and they're too small, as i should have expected.

I am seriously considering your suggestion and using a paperclip out of desperation and not wanting to commit to new headlamps quite yet.

my only concern is that the paperclip wouldn't hold with enough spring pressure. going to attempt anyway and hope for the best.

if anyone has any suggestions, or can possibly link a thread with the answer, that would be most appreciated.

EDIT- decided to do another search just to check to see if i was actually just dumb, and this one posted MUCH more recently (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/wtb-headlight-bulb-retaining-clip.555296/)

I should probably take the time to learn how to use these forums before I make you all shake your heads over me asking stupid questions

My 2002 Tundra has pretty much the same clip. One was lost about 10 years ago, and I've run without it with no problems. The rubber splash protector holds the bulb very tight. No problens while bouncing around on the worst (logging) roads that I live on in the Northwoods of Maine. Never bothered to replace it because it's a PIA anyways, and have no idea why it's needed, at least on my Tundra
