I am thinking CVJ AXLE, has anyone used these?
I have about 1.5 inch of front lift with 6112 and this is the first cv boot to Crack and let the grease out on my 2010 reg cab with 119234 mi. CVJ says they have a bigger boot to help with slightly lifted trucks like mine.

Your CV axles appear to be OEM, in which case I'd second whatstcp said and just recommend rebooting. To answer your initial question though, I actually just put 2 new cv axles from CVJ on my '03 Tacoma last week (link to the ones I installed pasted down below). I'm happy with them so far. I had aftermarket parts store cheapsies on mine, and the boots were just starting to tear, so getting OEM axles from CVJ seemed like the right move, but since I didn't have cores [old OEMs to return to them], I paid an additional $300 in core deposits, plus ~$300 per axle. So if you don't want to spend at least $600 on new CV axles [almost $1100 in my case after shipping + taxes], rebooting for ~$50 per axle, and getting your hands dirty is probably the more financially sensible move. FWIW, my truck has a 3" lift up front [5150s with Toytec 3" lift coils], and the CVJ axles supposed designed for moderate lift angles do sit very nicely, with no ribs on the boots rubbing at all. I can post pics of them after work if you are interested, just lmk.

    that's a weird looking 1st gen setup

but anyway I also don't see any problem in the pic, but with a 1.5" lift you should be fine to run OEM axles without issue. The split probably just happened from age or road debris, your boots don't look like they're rubbing

Thank You that's great information and that's what I was thinking you can't go wrong with oem or rebuilt oem like the cvj axles.

I figured he would figure out it's not a first gen. That picture was to show the angle, I just discovered the tear a couple of days ago during a routine oil change, but I have decided to go with oem since they served me well the first 13 years.
    Appreciate the help

The new cv axle came today and I am impressed with the weight and quality of this Toyota cv axle, I understand why these trucks last so long and can take such abuse, it's the quality parts they use.

Out of curiosity what'd you pay for that from Toyota? 1st gen ones run like $600 if you can find them still in stock at a Toyota dealer, hence why I went with the CVJ reman ones for $300 per

Why not do napa premium $400 for both with 20% coupons, or the extended travel axles? Not the cheap ones, their premium- better boots etc…

after putting on a 1.75” lift both side the outer boots cracked and leaked so, im looking at getting them both done over the Toyota reboot kit. With 222k on the originals its probably time to swap them, keep the oem for backups?

    any advice appreciated thanks

I hear the NAPA ones are good, probably the 2nd best option behind OEM. But that being said, if you're OEM axles are fine [outside of the boots being torn], then I'd just reboot them for $50 per side [using the OEM Toyota reboot kit]. You'd be $300 ahead vs the NAPA option, with even better quality axles. Whenever you lift a truck, you can pretty well expect the boots to tear in short order afterwards, since the change in CV angle will cause the ribs of the boot to rub against each other and then tear. Once you reboot, just make sure you do your best to stretch out the boots if need be [look up boot slide mod in the sticky section on here for more details on this] to ensure the ribs won't rub each other, and they should last quite some time before tearing again. Just my $.02.
