Technically half theirs?? Whose name is the truck registered in?

You might be asking for some hard, lifes-not-fair, reality-shock lessons if you are messing with their vehicles.

Sounds like you're going through a lot of trouble just to hide some rubs.

For small things, use your interior light. Condoms in your truck? Little cramped isn't it???

Just a bunch of old crap
Make a little false bottom in your armrest storage area. Just cut a piece of plastic/wood/metal and cover it in cheap carpet or felt to match the inside. Leave a small tab of carpet sticking up in the corner as a lift handle. Glue some blocks to the bottom of it for support/spacing and you have a nice hidden area for a small handgun, condoms, cash, iPod, whatever. Quick access and at first glance nobody will know it's there.

    neglect, mostly.
larry's got the best answer. if your just trying to hide something small like you rubbers just pop out the double cup holder in front of the shifter. for bigger stuff like your booze just use the storage behind the seats, the one on the driver side holds a case of beer perfectly :spy: . . .. .and if you're hiding liquor put them in the ones under the seats, but make sure your wrap the bottles in a towel or something or they will go clink clink clink everytime you stop :spy: :spy: :spy:

    ...mule.

Best place to hide stuff in an automatic 2nd gen- the silver plastic bezel around the gearshift pops up very easily with very little effort, you just have to unscrew the shift knob. Thats where I hide all the wires to all the switches I have in my truck. You can hide your weed, er, condoms there and they will not only be protected from the temperatures in your truck, they'll never be found.

That's where I stash stuff and run my wires, too. CB wires run through there since my CB is mounted on the back of the center console. Pops right up with no tools, and you can even access enough of it without having to take the shifter knob off.
