need 4 post lift for safety/efficiency ... buy or rental?

looking for similar setups (with or without boat) to use for involving project on my Tacoma
the price on these is nearly $5k but would only need it for a short while so perhaps renting is a better option?

 

i was able to locate a DIY garage that would possibly allow me access to 4 post lift and blasting room (not sure how that works)

but its in New Orleans, which is a bit of a drive from the mid west

$125 per day rental is not bad at all ... its just the travel distance

might anyone know of a closer spot near Kansas City, Denver or Chicago

there is a DIY garage similar to that where i am at in Omaha but they refuse to let me blast under my truck
the painting is by brush which they should not have an issue with but am still unclear on their policies

 

Have you checked with your local media blasters What it would cost to get your job done??

Might be cheaper in the long run

How bout an update

 

The thing is blasting and Hydraulic lifts do not play well together very long.

Some People I know would not allow even Speedi Dry near the lift.

Seem to be good Reasoning no failures with the Lift in 40 years till the building was torn down.

I have Seen Media Blasters use Stands big enough to support what they needed to get under .
