I was looking to purchase running boards for my 2013 double cab. I was looking to go with the N-fab 3" main tube because of the small gap between the truck and the bar but I ran across the rough country running boards and it looks like its a tighter fit(smaller gap). Does anyone know if the rough county running boards are a closer fit to the truck than the N-fab boards?

From the pictures it looks like it is but I want to confirm it before I put my order in..

I think that n fab is the 2 inch
And the rough country is the 3 inch
    That's th difference

There is a 2 inch and 3 inch option for nfab.. I think the rough country has a thicker tube. I went with nfab bc I found a bunch of positive reviews. I couldn't find much feedback for the rough country.

I'm happy with my 2" n-fab's. I would have preferred 3", but wanted the bed access version for DCLB.

since the pictures are at a differant angle it looks like a bigger gap but its not....its the same. they actually look like the
same bars to me....Rough Country may be getting them from N-fab.

with that said, i have the 3" N-fabs in textured and couldnt be happier. they are holding up very well.

I really wanted 3", but it wasn't an option.

Basically aesthetics. Reg nerf bars and running boards actually have more function since you could walk the entire length and not just two hoops. Lol
With that said, I still prefer the look of the nfabs and they serve their purpose just fine.
