This is for the 16-18 Toyota Tacoma Off-Road Light Bar for 30" LED Light. (T163OR).
I started to mount my light bar when I came to find out that N-FAB had us doing way more than what was needed to mount this bar. So I have written some corrections and hopefully this will help someone else also!
To start: (I will add, DO NOT DO THIS IN THE COLD! or you will break tabs off)
    fullsizeoutput_aaa.jpg
The videos on You-tube make it look to easy, but it will come off!
    fullsizeoutput_aa6.jpg
"Use the tape" just incase you hit the bumper with the tabs of the bar! (no duct tape)
    fullsizeoutput_aad.jpg
I actually left most of the grill post there and just cut enough out so the bar mounts would clear. We'll se if I like the way it looks in the daylight. If not, I'll cut it like there photo.
    fullsizeoutput_aa3.jpg
Why they told use to cut on the white line, completely baffles me! If you cut basically were I have drawn the black line, It will still clear the new mounts & give you all 3 mounting points back! I don't know what they were thinking??????

I will also add, the really small molded clip in the next photo is very delicate!!!! & I would us a pair of needle nose pliers on the side that sticks though and help them out of the hole
( hard season learned by me!)

    fullsizeoutput_ab9.jpg

I haven't gotten my light bar yet from Cali Raised, so I have the bar mounted all the way forward in the wholes till the light gets here. Then I'll see if I can mount it farther back!

    fullsizeoutput_ab3.jpg
    fullsizeoutput_ab4.jpg
    fullsizeoutput_ab5.jpg
    fullsizeoutput_ab6.jpg
More to follow as I get the light bar!!!!

That's exactly how I mounted mine. Great, you should send it to N-Fab. I mounted four separate lights, instead of a light bar, kinda old school I guess. Whichever lights you go with, get a premade wire harness/switch, makes it very easy and quick to install. Love the pictures.

Let me know if you hear back from them. Yes I did get instructions, a little vague in some places, but good enough.

    Mark wrote me back:

Doug – Thanks for the kind words, and the valuable feedback. We’ll share with our Design team. As far as our toll free phone number, it has been down, but will be back in action soon.

Mine had directions in the box, the same as the ones above. Wasn’t that hard to install but you definitely need to have them send you the brackets for the light. It made a great amount of difference on mine. Before it looked like it was odd it stuck out so far, but when I changed out the light bar brackets it sits perfect almost against the truck.

    Here’s some pics.

Before with the brackets from Black Oak LED.

And here it is with the brackets that N-Fab sent to replace the ones provided by the light bar manufacturer.

Since you messed with your firewall already, where did you send your wires through? Did you go through the loom on the far driver side, the one with the individual, what looks like an airline connection also coming through?

Or is there an easier place that my eyes just haven’t locked onto yet?

I used a hole right behind the brake booster. It has a rubber plug in it already, just cut the center of it out and then you can run the wires thru it and reinstall it and it will keep the wires from rubbing. You also have to cut a small hole in the sound deadning on the inside right where it comes in that hole. No big deal though. Then it's real close to the inside fuse box where you can get your power. I used that fuse box, so the power to the lights will only be on when the truck is on.

Looks great. I think one of the best things is that it looks like it belongs on the truck, not an afterthought. It's not to big and take away from the look of the truck.

For those of you looking at this thread,
Where ever you end up buying one, make sure you contact N-fab and get their special mounting brackets for the 30 inch light because nobody else has them but them!
