Got the 6-step bed access nerf-bars installed, they don't sit as close to the body as I would like but I am getting used to them. They are pretty solid, I am 235 pounds and they seem solid when i stand on the bed step.
There were a couple of spots on the bottom where the powder coating was rubbed off from shipping, I will have to get some paint or undercoating on the spots.

They installed in about 20 minutes with the help of a friend 5 bolts per side (I replaced the included hardware with stainless bolts and washers).

That's why I went with the 3 inch version. Close that gap between the step and rocker panel.

I wish I had, I couldn't find pictures of them before i bought them so I called N-Fab and they told me that they fit close to the body so I went with the 2"

Do you have a pic of the 6 step 3" ? I am deciding what to get now, I don't mind a bit of a gap but I am only going to buy this once... might as well get it right.
    thx

they don't make a 3" 6 step with the drop-down steps, the adjustable step version has a bracket for the third step on the long-bed[IMG]

I did the 3" on my 2016 and they sit pretty close to the body.
