These are some pictures of the truck wrecked and when she was in good condition. The airbags do not go off which is concerning. I’d like to see if she is able to be rebuilt. Maybe make here an off road truck here in Southern California. Anyone try to do this before any suggestions etc. I’m gonna make sure the more and trans are good before I throw a lot of money at this. Thanks.

Looks like a good way spend A LOT of money.
It’s wrecked on both end my dude. Look at the rear axle.

    I mean, it’s your money.
    Anything can be fixed.
But it’s not money well spent.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
That took a very hard hit.

I am thinking use what parts you can salvage

Just a few accessories, mud flaps, bed cover , racks, seat covers, ….
Maybe in China where the labor is cheap, but here, it’ll cost you a brand new truck and she’ll never be the same!. Overall, it your money, heck, some people spend 100k on a 70 year old bug, where a new one it’s only 35k.

Walk 100% Away from it. The fact you're able to do so without the airbags deploying, is a sign. Take something off the truck for sentimental reason but let it go.

That sucks unless there is something driving you to keep that exact Tacoma I would take all the aftermarket goodies and slap it on a different Tacoma. Frames are hard to find and you'll at least need a whole front clip and frame assembly. If the engine and trans are good you could hold onto those until you find a Tacoma with a bad engine or trans and you'd have another good tacoma.

Yeah that’s not a bad idea- keep it as a parts truck and go buy another one.

    Was it super low mile?

I have rebuilt a few vehicles from salvage auctions, almost specifically new aluminum ford trucks.

Personally, unless its low mile and pristine cab i would sell it on Copart. Just looking at the photos.

I am about to start a frame off on a low mile 95.5 taco and the parts list keeps getting longer.

Cab is still good. It has 240 on motor and trans. I tried starting the engine a few weeks ago and it started right up and strong even in that condition

I would send it to Copart. Every scenario I can think of otherwise would be a looser.

Buy a flooded parts truck, but it would need axles and mechanical parts.

Buy a rolled over one and it would probably still need a front clip and bed.
