    Hi y’all,
I wanted to ask y’all if anybody has the same thing happening to them or if they know a fix? My truck is shaking between 20 to 30 mph, I don’t know why this is happening. I did a transmission oil change about six months ago, and this problem started last week. I have a 2016 Tacoma sport, Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    “update”
It seems like all of the information that I got especially the one about greasing the U joint was the successful one.

Check for snow, ice, mud or other crap stuck in and around the wheels.
Might be a balance issue, but that's a strange speed to shake at.

it's a '16, sounds like you need to see a mechanic. i'd check anything that moves underneath the truck. ball joints, drive shafts, suspension arms, wheels.

Doesn't look like you're lifted...but still could be the needle bearing and is easy to check. Does the shaking go away in 4wd?

Run your hands around the top surface of all tires and feel for a bulge which would indicate a broken belt. Move the truck forward a bit and check the surface that was on the bottom.

This, or uneven wear on tires. Plus balance issue.

I do the rotation of my tires every 5000 miles when I go to get my oil change.

This problem y’all is so annoying. I am literally like three months away from paying off my truck and just to think that now I have this problem!

I have it on my new 2022. Lifted 4in. It vibrates at exactly 25mph. It needs 2in. blocks tapered 2.5 degrees the drive shaft is rubbing.

I already replaced the needle bearing. The mechanic dropped the drive shaft and it was gone. Waiting for the blocks now.

If you didn’t get the ECGS clamshell bushing it’s definitely part of the problem. It’s an inevitable issue. Blocks are also going to cause more problems than good. I’ve chased vibes through multiple lifts with multiple Tacomas and have it dialed now. A digital angle reader can be a good investment as well

I do not feel the shaking a high-speed only feel the shaking between 20 to 30 mph. My truck is an automatic truck as well. I feel the shaking throughout the whole entire truck.

I have done the brakes. So you recommend I get new tires and an alignment?

I have not lifted my truck. It is still at factory height with factory wheels and tires.

What is the needle bearings causing shakes?
