I've been seeing this girl and she's your typical Subaru loving dog mom with that kind of Barnes and Noble manager kind of look. This last week on a Tuesday we went out to dinner and afterwards we went for a stroll. I took her back to her place to drop her off and on the way there she keeled over in pain, apparently that doubled glazed baby ribs and red wine did not agree with her innards and was kicking like a mule at her back door to get out. She didn't say anything, but OMG, sorry. She apparently lost the battle with said mule and a flood of gravy came out. I'm flabbergasted, but on the bright side at least the gravy was filtered trough a pair of undies, jeans and was beaten back by 3M Scotchguard aka the other "armor"

Of course it's Tuesday night and after seeing her waddle to her front door I rushed home to fire up the Bissell. The damage was limited to an area the size of my hand with a wet skid on the bolster. I'm pretty sure the health risks are not bad since she looks hot n' wholesome.

I haven't heard from her since.

    Should I call her?

I was planning to get leather installed at some point, but i'm worried the cushion under the fabric might be ruined.

Let's see those Katskinz or Roadwire covers guys. I'm not interested in the pasta sauce name covers.

She sounds like a keeper, getting past the shitting in front of each other thing in a relationship is a major milestone. Congratulations!

    Great story.

That was the reason that we always had leather in our cars when the kids were in diapers. Just installing car seats when my wife was babysitting in our cloth Geo Metro ruined the fabric. Now, I am okay with cloth in the Taco.

Sorry, I have no help with your foam. It is somewhat open cell, so it might be good to hit it with the Bissell again?

BTW, if this is a worry in the future, do not get perforated leather. The wife's Subaru has it and stuff in the perforations is there permanently. I never liked perforated leather before that, now my hate is confirmed.

My guess is she will be too embarrassed to talk to you. I guess it depends how much you like her, if you reach out to her and tell her it’s ok. As for the seat, hit it a few times with the shampooer and I’m sure I’ll be good. The seat foam isn’t really absorbent so I wouldn’t be too worried about. But switching to leather will ensure it’s pretty much all taken care of if your worried about some lingering smell or stain

Ty for the entertainment on this slow friday afternoon in the office. I'll try to actually help I guess? Hit them with super hot water bissell carpet cleaner, then steam clean (like professional steam clean) the shit out of it (HA- GET IT?!) and I feel like you should be good. Bissell to remove the actual stain, steam clean to kill any potential bacteria that may still be there.

As for calling her...if you like her, and things were going well I say why not. If things work out, It'll make a good story one day. Type 2 fun?

Meh, give her a call. Everybody poops.

Your seat will be fine. Someone threw up in the back seat of my Nissan with cloth seats a few years ago. That was nasty
