Do these go over the seals a little. I know they are in channel but some videos I’ve seen looks like there’s a lip that lays on top of the outside of the trick

I love my AVS in channel visors as well. Like you I too at first notice how the windows hit them while going up but it did not take long for them to settle in at all. I also blacked out my windows so to me it just gives the window that added black out touch I was looking for.

I don't know about any other brands but the AVS ones that I have are only in and under the window seal. As you can see from the photo I posted above you can see the outside of the window seal all the way around the top and sides.

How do the rears seat? I have a set of weather techs now and they use these dumb little metal clips. I’ve had weather techs before and the tears were always an interference fit like the fronts are

The AVS were super easy to put in. It was a strip 3m tape around the whole side the pressed against the window seal. I just pealed up the outside corners of the adhesive cover and with the windows open I bent them slightly to get them in the channel to the proper spot, held it in place with one hand and pulled off the loose corner of adhesive cover I pealed earlier and pulled it the rest of the way off then ran my fingers back and forth inside the channel to press it on tight. Rolled the windows up and left them up for about 4 days.

You don’t have to bend. Just tilt the front down a bit and it will go right in (both front/rear windows). Also, definitely use the alcohol wipes to clean inside the outer channel (remove that dirt/grime/oil). Insert, and pull outwards to set the adhesive strips... then put the windows up for a while to force them outward and allow for the adhesive to do it’s work. Lastly, most folks think this won’t work so well, because they think of window felt. The Tacoma is a rubber seal, so no felt.

    EDIT: In-Channel Vent Visors - AVS part # 194768 (Toyota # 113-25478-15875)
I first got these from my Toyota Dealer. Found my second set at AutoZone.

Are these the low pros? If so do you have a link? Also when putting them in do you go inside channel so window pushes against them or outside the seal? If that makes sense I know they are in channel but does it go visor seal window or seal visor window ?

These are just The normal "in-channel" visor. They are inside the window seal and is pushed on them. I got mine off of Amazon Just search AVS in-channel, year, and double cab.

I’ve had them for 3 years, still work great. No issues. They did catch at first, but not for long.

AVS Aeroskin bug shield, TufSkinz tailgate letters, tinted windows, Undercover Ultraflex bed cover.
I’m wanting the lowest profile in channel I can get, how does the AVS compair to the EGR? I can get the AVS for $50 or the EGR is on sale at $71 at AutoAnything but I can’t make up my mind which way to go.
