So, if you are thinking about these, here is what you should know:

    Crazy easy to install.
    Looks great.
    Fits perfectly.
Window snags them on the way up. I hope they relax eventually so that this is not an issue.

These, to me, are exactly like the "In Channel" visors that I have used before. Not much clearance for flicking out ashes (if you smoke), but they look better than the outside mount variants (again, to me). I am about 85% happy. If they relax over time, I will be 100% happy.

What else can I say? Here are photos:

No problem. My pleasure. As an update, I think these are beginning to relax a little. The front glass still hits, but to a much less degree.

One big thing they're used for is being able to have your windows slightly rolled down in the rain. That way you can keep fresh air flowing while keeping weather out.

Just installed these on my 15 DCLB, last weekend. Easy install, looks good. I like the appearance, from outside. Inside, I find them to be somewhat in my line of sight, especially around the drivers a-pillar. I have noticed increased wind noise, with windows up, above 55. Santa dropped them off recently, so I guess they've a home, for now.

You going to leave your vehicle running in a parking lot all day?

Or are you going to crack the windows to keep it from getting blistering hot, and allowing the breeze to air the vehicle out?

On those perfect rainy days where AC is too cold and causes the windshield to fog... these are perfect. Let's in that wonderful FRESH air and smell of rain.

They've been around for YEARS- Obviously they serve a purpose.

I have the same ones, fit perfect never an issue with windows coming close
to catching in the up motion, sounds like you have a bend in them.

I ordered mine this week. Got it much cheaper through Amazon being sold by Trends auto but shipping takes a little longer than the others. Same part number though!

I put them on every truck so I can leave the rear windows cracked all the time and
for fresh air when it's raining.

These are (provide a means to):
    • A looks thing. They "beef up" the look of the vehicle.
    • A way to let foul smells, smoke, or heat out of the vehicle (VENTilate) while it is raining-so you don't get water inside the vehicle.
    • Add a "slight" darkening effect to the cabin. Exaggerates any tint installed, by a fraction.
    • A way to ventilate (as another poster pointed out) to ventilate extreme cabin temperatures while your car is parked, without the fear of a quick rain shower, or someone seeing your windows cracked open.
    • image_zpseuigqtzv_64e281dda9b0620f2acc776a748686a56f751e23.jpg
    • My windows are cracked by 1.5"...or are they? ;-)

I have an issue submitted with Lund/AVS to address.

I always leave the window open a little , even in the cold, so these will be my first "mod" In my opinion they are way more functional than just appearence.

Update: AVS vent visors "corrected themselves" ( for the most part) after being seated in the channel, on the vehicle, for a few days. Only a slight "touch" is felt/heard now when rolling up the window.

I would not leave my windows cracked all day because the wind will blow dust/grit all over the interior of my truck. Not to mention the spiders have free access to build webs in your truck. Here in Illinois spiders float around on strings of web silk and they land on your truck and start taking up residence.

The Tacoma has a outside air vent that works great. The Colly I traded in also had this feature. I can air out my truck going down the road. And I can still smell the wonderful fresh air/rain along with the occasional skunk smashed on the highway.

Yes they have been around for years back when my past trucks did not have a outside air vent like today's trucks. They were great back then I must admit but not so much today. I am leaning to not putting them on my truck. But who knows I may hit the buy button next time I'm creeping the pages of RealTruck.com :)

Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
I bought the same ones. Very affordable and I think they look great. Someone made a comment above about turning on the A/C and saving money. First of all, running your A/C does not save you money. Secondly, you're not running your A/C when your vehicle is parked. The part # I found for the double cab was 194768 (smoked). I do not have any issues when rolling the windows up or down. Very happy...Taco16e.jpg

I'm not? I thought that is why car/truck manufacturers put A/C in the trucks, to use. I use mine when I 1st start it up during the summer. Never knew I was not suppose to.

I don't have no problem leaving my windows up. Saves buying electric motors for the windows.

I see that one person mentioned increased wind noise. Do others have more/less/ or the same wind noise? I already have plenty of wind noise at 65 MPH. Trying to see if these will help or hurt.
