I just finished filling out the survey. Very detailed in the questions they ask. Even give you the opportunity to write out concerns or explanations of your observations

The USA model has halogen DRL bulbs. The rest are LED.

I don't have a hood rattle but there is definitely a little oscillation in the hood near the back end by the windshield when at highway speeds.

I am confused. Every Tacoma I have seen has LED DRLs. The pro and others do have an additional led strip under the projector.

The front turn signals are halogen and they were used as DRLs on the second gen. Maybe that’s where people are confused. When I see other 4th gen’s on the road the DRLs are very bright and effective.

The strip led lights are starting to get tacky. Virtually every new vehicle has them. I’m happy our trucks don’t follow that trend.

Yeah I guess that's where we disagree. These "LED DRLs" seem very antiquated. They're nothing more than a regular headlight. Go from DRL to regular headlight and point your truck towards a window where you can see the reflection. There's literally no difference at all. Toyota dropped the ball with them in my opinion. My 2020 TRD ORP had the LED DRLs and they were super effective and much brighter at night.

That’s because it literally is the headlight. I wouldn’t expect a difference. It’s very bright and visible during the day. I believe that’s the point. Not to look like knight rider.

They were cool to me when the 3rd gen came out. Now it’s nothing unique or special.

Kinda weird. If they are the same, then why have a DRL? Just turn your headlights on.

Sorry, but they def screwed this one up...just like the turn signal bulb being the only halogen bulb. They cheaped out on the headlights altogether and it's super obvious.

My 2020 O/R had outstanding led headlights with led sequential turn signals, they were far better than my 24 O/R. If you get a chance sometime switch from high to low and back up against a dark wall or the woods and you will notice the high beam light pattern is very narrow compared to my low beam. I would assume this was to lessen the light to oncoming traffic. But to me it comprises my ability to see roadside deer at night. Lots of vulnerable stuff just behind that grill! At least the 24 headlights seem to generate a little warmth(to melt wet snow) The lights on my 2020 were ice cold

Yeah I don't wanna get into any of that....and the glare happens while driving (mostly when the sun is directly up like 11a-2p in the summer months)..., so I won't be able to do that...but it's def an issue. Just be aware...
