I’d be interested in purchasing one of the mounts!

OP Great work, great product. I myself tried to follow Redarc's instructions of mounting to a solid surface. To do so I had to go a bit higher in the truck and removed the Body control module and I believe another module as well. Redarc was of no help in suggesting a mounting place in the Tacoma, none, nada, zero, zilch. I like and would have purchased your solution, but my application was a year ago. I did not like the previously mentioned tie wrap, or taping options. I have been in a fatality accident where another type of module dislodged during the collision and the authorities suggested I was to blame as the dislodged module could have prevented me from accessing the brake pedal, so this area of the vehicle is a sensitive subject to me. @REDARC_Ryan A recent nonrelated call to Redarc was successfully answered.

Changed out my previous mounting solution of velcro tape with this bracket and wow this is so much better. The velcro was holding pretty good but the bracket is completely solid and fits perfectly. Thanks OP!

Just put one of these in my 4Runner last week and used it last weekend. I was going to use an old Tekonsha that I have laying around to install in the Tacoma but I liked it so much (and looks so clean) that I'm going to get another for the truck.

Just arrived. Super fast delivery. Looks to be good quality and included all the hardware. Should make install a breeze when my controller arrives tomorrow. Will post some pictures during install. Thanks again!

I think I never posted my photos. It works best in one specific configuration. Long Allen wrenches are helpful. The 1’ cat6 on my elite is a bit short, 1.5’ would be ideal.

A bit of advice, don’t install like this:
    50C81DAE-94E8-49B6-8195-5D48EE89DF6D.jpg

I have it upside down in this photo. I switched it after my first attempt. Definitely you want the thick cable on the bottom and the RJ45 on top. Otherwise the crash bar interferes.

Fixed the orientation to the correct setup.

Yep, I went with the RJ45 connector on the top and the wire harness on the bottom. (Opposite of your picture)

Glad it worked out for you!

One of the many benefits of being a TacomaWorld member is finding neat parts for your truck that you wouldn't be able to get otherwise. ;)

I've been waiting for cooling weather and the time to install. Maybe tomorrow? I also need to cut/trim my dash some in the upper right corner so the redarc switch will fit.

    For now...

Forgot to post after install. Bracket made mounting the box was more solid. Took some time to get everything in place but worth it. Thanks again.

Wanna do one for my '02 Tundra? I haven't yet scoped out the mounting bolt locations, buuuuuuut, really loving this mount and you've done all the hard work...

I can give it a shot. Send me a drawing with measurements (as accurate as you can get them) and I can work on a prototype for you. DM me when you're ready.

This mount looks like exactly what I need. If you have any left, I'd be interested in buying one!
