Might put some beefier AT tires. But not much. It looks great the way it is and it's 2WD, so making it look like an overland would be lame.

2wd is pretty normal in flat states.

I also have a 2wd, not a fan at all of all the overland racks & gadgets.
I dont like the look but thats just me, but good for the guys who actually use them for that..
Me personally, Im not a fan of the high back rake on my sr5 & that needs & will be resolved...

Some of us still want a truck but no interest in thrashing them around in the dirt, some of us have no idea what that white stuff on the ground is that some of you deal with in the winter months, if something does go wrong after warranty period there will be added labor costs involved due to more labor intensive situations related to having a 4wd, example front diff, shafts, trans pull, etc...
5 hour trans swap can turn into an 8-10 hours trans swap...
    Thats my 2 cents.

Very nice. No issues here with the color or the truck. Assuming you got a nice deal b/c we’re flooded with 2WD Sports in these parts.

I might be alone in this but, on the new ones I’d like to Frankenstein a Sport body over OR mechanicals. Ditch the wheels on either though.

Completely missed the Texas part! No snow. And pretty flat! Enjoy the truck.

Curious, do you actually use the steps to get into the truck?

Yes. So I don't slide on the seats and wear them out.

I thought that too, but my 6'2" coworker can fit in the back seat without having to have the front passenger's knees riding the glove box.

My 2021 was 4x4 and the only times I used it was to drive 250 miles round trip every month to do the 10 miles in 4wd. Part of me wishes I got the OR, but long term maintenance costs would have been WAY more expensive.

    I do too....
BUT, my steps will be gone for some rock sliders without a top-plate, which will also only be used as a step & help prevent door dings....
