    I did have to remove the front flaps, and I did some super minor trimming. It doesn't rub anymore but I do want to level it out just for the look.

    I have not had any issues or lack of capability to get anywhere I wanted due to tire/wheel size with mine either 285/65r18 Nitto Trail Grapplers.

    That's a decision about where you want to go and ride. I'm LT because I want to drive anywhere and not worry and ride quality wasn't my top priority. On road and the ride matters? Go P.

    ^^^^^This!!! I am LT for the more durable sidewall. As an added benefit the steering is more responsive and the truck feels tighter overall. Is it rougher, yes but it is marginal compared to the benefits that come from an LT. I had a hard time even finding a tire that I wanted that was C rated. If you are concerned that a full on LT E (10 ply)rated sidewall mud tire may be too stiff a good compromise may be the Goodyear Duratrac's. They are LT and P rated, you can get them in the larger sizes and in a C (6 ply) rated sidewall. It may be a good compromise for you, a lot of people swear by them. I personally don't have any experience with them
