My last 2001 tacoma build from the ground up, check it out!

It all started at a local dealership here on kauai, I traded in my 1997 tacoma for this 2001 v6, 5 speed, 4wd tacoma, this was my dream truck from when I was a kid, recently sold it in April 2019, yes I regret it here’s some pics of the build and a list of things done to the truck

All the lift and everything done by me and my dad as we are mechanic s

One piece back glass

Tinted by the one and only @nateski at “The Shop” here on kauai

Wet Okole full piping black and white seat covers

Weather tech floor mats

All color match work done by auto stylin here on kauai

Brand new genuine Toyota front and rear bumpers

Billet grille with bumper insert all done by me

20” 4Runner limiteds

22x12 American force independence 6 spoke on 33 Toyo open countries

24x14 fuel forged ff09 on 35s

Dude, how did you convince yourself to sell it??? That is way to cleeeeeeaaaaan unless somebody made you a ridiculous offer.... Than I understand but that was cleeeeeeaaaaan can't believe you sold it

 

I ended up getting a 2019 tacoma and I had a bulletproof and kings for it, then I sold that too, now I’m back in a first gen cause I missed it so much, gotta build this one better than the last one

 

No way?! You went brand new 19 and didn't like it? You really liked your first gen more enough to go through the hassle of reselling and rebuying again? for real that's a testament to how much people love the first gen

 

Believe it or not I bought 3 3rd gens, 2 was white and the other was black, sold all of um, a lot of people appreciate the 1st gen way more lol

 

I do believe it, I love hearing it too of course it's all opinions and preferences but it's still cool people go back to it from the new stuff
