My front bumper and M8000 winch are installed and I wanted the winch controls in the cab as well as being able to use the remote switch too. It came out pretty sweet.

First I had to rewire the contactor box

Then cut out a hole in my transmission shifter cover and install the switch frames:

    Install the switches:

Wire all the connections and trim a little plastic:

The winch switch lights up when it is on.

Your truck looks awesome and that's a VERY clean install. My only concern would be with it getting bumped or something since it's in a rather high traffic area. Very, very nice though.

I ran the power to the switch from my blue sea fuse panel I installed. Typically I will leave the fuse out so the winch can't accidentally be activated. I will pop the fuse in when I get to a trail.

That was my only real concern, otherwise I like the location. Thanks!!

Where did you get the switches for your winch power and the in and out switch? I am thinking about installing in cab controls for my XRC-8.

Picture link broken. I have bought switches from them berfore and am very happy with them. Just got done fabricating a mount for my control box and will order some switches for the inside. Looking for a wiring diagram and how to do that.

These are the switches I like. The 12 volt guy switches are cool, but not the look I'm going for. NAT can you tell me where to get these switches please?

I'm new to the forum but I have a lot of time in off road driving. Many of you looking for quality switchs and wire harness? you want to think on using switches made for side by sides like RZR. They can take the power draw and take the elements or water mud a lot more than your truck cab will ever see.

Take a look at this guys web site. I personally have had him make panels for me, lighted switchs etc. Concours Specialties at Teamconcours.com. He has quality product
