My Fake Pro Build

Bought this truck late April of 2018. I saved up all my deployment money and sold my 2004 Dodge Dakota for this beauty. This is my second vehicle and I’m hoping this is one that stays with me for awhile. From the first day I have been adding little things here and there. TW has really helped me with this truck and finding cool yet unnecessary things to spend my money on to add to my Tacoma.

Both of these were done by guys here on the forum.

My headlights were done by @no vtec 4me and he does a great job. You send him money and he sends you a pair of OEM headlights that he already been retrofitted and then you mail him your old lights. It works nice because there’s no down time of having no head lights.

My badge was done by @micwillia and he sells them on TacomaWorld and makes them custom from a 3D printer. So you can get them to say whatever you want really. He is backed up on orders right now so you’ll have to wait a bit for him.

Huge fan of what you did with your truck! This is the vision I have for my MGM. I noticed you have the black headlights but stock tail lights. I love the TRD pro tail lights on some colors, but I think I prefer the stock ones on MGM. Just curious if you're planning on swapping those out?

 

Appreciate the compliment. What I did to my tail lights was buy a pre cut tint that covers the little square chrome spot. I am trying to decide what to do with my taillights tho. I’m either going to get a pair of SR tail lights that are already black inside or go with the pros that have the clear lens with the black inside. Still haven’t decided but will go with one of those options.

 

Oh interesting, I didn't know the SR tail lights were different! Update this when you swap them out, really curious to see how they turn out.
