    None yet!
    Hey everyone,

New here and stoked to show off my Tacoma

    2003 Tacoma - V6 3.4L 4x4.

Purchased June 2020 @ only 77k miles!!! A year in now a few miles shy of 90k! I’ve driven it a ton and it runs / rides like a dream! I had to drive from NY to MD to find a black first gen double cab in good shape. I found her and i hope to have her forever. Currently at stock height but aiming to lift 2-3 inches by end of summer.

    Work / Mods so far:

    - New Shocks / Struts when purchased
    - Front Rotors and Pads
    - replaced all belts but timing
    - Stealth Custom Series rims f5’s +0.0
    - Firestone Destination MT 2’s - 265/75R/16 (I do get a little rub at full lock)
    - Pioneer DMH-2600NEX stereo face

    Top priorities:
    - nomad retrofits, any recommendations for other first gen custom headlights?
    - 2-3 inch lift
    - body work: nice dent in passenger side that drives me nuts, as well as clear cost peel on roof
    - steel reer bumper
    - thule roof rack - selling one? Dm me

Currently at 89,700 miles - when do I have to worry about the timing belt snapping on me? Need to get it done but a $600 Job is mod money

would love to hear any thoughts, mod ideas, recommendations, etc.

    Thanks for looking everyone!!

    Welcome to TW!!

Just follow the rule/mileage when doing the belt, it's a needed "mod"!

I've always said that preventative care is the cheapest form of care. (Be it healthcare or car maintenance). Spend a little extra here for the added reassurance that it won't snap or else you'll be regretting your decision of putting off $600. Just my two cents. It's a beautiful truck and welcome to TW!

@doublespeak nice looking truck. To piggy back on posted comments, get things fixed/replaced when you've taken it apart, so that you don't end up dealing with a chain reaction of other things that stop working right.

@boogie3478 good lookin' truck buddy. Dark colors can be high maintenance, but it's a labor of love for me.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about your timing belt yet. I would be comfortable riding it out until 100k. My brothers truck just had it done at 112k

@AJKlug1 Like that color. Great looking truck. That the normal height or did you get a lift kit installed?
