He has 3 limit straps in that photo. They are just zip tied together.

2 is pretty standard on anything that sees desert.

In the front of my truck, I run 6 ply straps (normals are 4 ply, so I technically run 1.5 limit straps) and I pull thru them in 4wd on steep climbs in double low range. So, I'm going to even double mine up to have 12 plys total.

    minor tweaks
I used one 10K per wheel on my desert rail and it was fine. 12" of rear travel and it saw more high speed abuse then most tacomas will see in a lifetime, no issues.

Reduce stretch, my 6 plys stretch probably a good 2-3" depending on how bound up my front end is

For racing purposes, losing a strap can cause the shocks to fail, ending your day. I've seen it happen. For most average use cases, a single strap is probably fine, just make sure those tabs are welded on really well.

For other cases, like 1-ton Jeeps, there is a ton (pun intended) of weight that droops out, and if you are just relying on shocks and sway bars to keep everything happy, it gets risky. Of course this is mainly targeting those who drive aggressive off-road and see their suspension topping out often. More straps = more insurance
