I am in the process of rewiring my truck and I have a dilemma.
I have multiple circuits going to the rear of the bed that have their own switch and relay. The current relays I am using have a hot wire and a ground for each of them going to the light source.

My question is, can I run the hot wires back individually to each light and tie all of the grounds into one source in the rear saving me multiple runs of grounding wire going to the rear?

    Thank you.

    Yes, if its easier.

This part I wonder about. Why run a ground wire at all? The frame acts as a ground for most electronics.

I am just asking because the original wiring harnesses that came with the lights had a positive and a negative wire going to the LED lights. But that is a lot of wire going to the rear, and to be honest, I didn't do that good of a job running them originally.

Very little current needed to run a relay yes you daisy chain all the relay grounds.

Thank you for the help. Now I can start planning my attack to finish this project.
