Just picked up a set of 4 33x12.50r17 mud claw radial mt load range d from a tire shop in town. Paid 1000 out the door for them. . Might have spent too much but time will tell.

I'm starting this thread as an ongoing review for these tires. I've seen a couple good reviews on them but not a lot of info was real in depth in terms of handling in wet and dry as well as on and off road so hopefully I can be some insight for another buyer.

First impression is wow these are pretty impressive very deep and aggressive tread on them. Tread compound seems pretty durable and sidewall feels sturdy I'm going to mount and balance them soon so I will post again on how they balance

So I have the tire mounted now and balanced smoothly took approx 5 oz of weight per tire. Not too bad for a 33 inch tire so I'm please with it. Washed all the blue off the side wall and cleaned up the white letters and these things look good. That are mounted on a set of fj cruiser wheels 17x7. The front I had to use 1 inch wheel spacers to clear the uca but I'm fine with that. I do have the cab mount chop done and the pinch weld and fenders cut. Already had all the clearance done for 35s so these fit no problem might be a different story for a stock truck

So my current mileage on the truck is 190,650 so I will start everything from there

I'll make a post when I do anything with the truck and check back with any problems I may run into :D

Edit: tread depth measure 18/32nds on all 4

I had to run 1 inch spacers with these wheels to clear the control arms

Well I went and did some muddling last night after some heavy rain and these really perform well. The tread cleaned out great and they really do bite over dirt and mud. I don't have any picture and it was gettin dark. But I'm impressed. The drive home we got pounded on, complete downpour and small hail and they did not hydroplane or loose traction on wet pavement. Felt very stable and was just as good if not better than the at I had on before.

So far so good with these after 100 miles

I had a chance to go to tuttle creek orv in manhatten k this past weekend and holy crap was i in love!!

I knew these truck were capable but holy crap i still cant believe eveything this truck was able to do

Anyways back to tires ... Propably one of the biggest reason for making it out alive was these tires

Aired down to 25 psi and stuck it on 4 and away i went handled the rock like nothing very good grip in the mud, loose rocks, dry packed dirt, sand, clay you name it

I didnt take many pictures due to i just didnt want to stop but being the only stockish truck there and the only ifs truck that left the parking lot and gettin all the compliments and thumbs up from every solid axle chevy jeep and toyota there felt really great

I know this is a little of track. But for a dedicated trail rig, the pattern of this tire is perfect for shaving a few tread blocks off.

    Update!!!

So ice had these on the truck for awhile now and still pleased with my purchase

I have rotated and balenced them 2 needed an extra 1/4 ounce others no weight and tread even and uniform no wear noticed yet

We got 3 inches of snow to playaround in and i will say i would not recommend for heavy snow use. However in their defence this is my first winter with truck, coming from a reg cab 4cyl 5sp to a access v6 6sp is a bit of a transition. So we will are how the rest of the season plays out

In 2wd does great in rain but not so good with snow pretty slippy at slow speed 4wd is much better ( again first winter with this truck dont bash me)

Im trying to get a wheeling trip set up soon so stay tuned

Sorry this is a really old post but I was looking at these tires and this came up on my search. If you dont mind what kind of mileage did you end up getting out of these tires? I am looking for a good tire for mostly wheeling trips but some day to day driving too.
