    This isn't a conversion issue, it a visibility convenience issue.

    Maybe make a cheat sheet. Or easy enough to remember that 31mph is about 50kph, 62mph is 100kph. You can kinda estimate other speeds knowing that, unless you’re worried about photo radar.

    If it’s not about conversion then why worry about kph at all? I thought the point of this thread is that you can’t see the kph inner ring on your speedometer but you’d like to know your speed in kph. Guess I don’t understand?

    Suck it up, mod, or do the math. I’m in the US but my brain works metric so everything is a conversion (try cooking!). Anyway, we’re all just trying to help.

    Edit: I just searched Amazon and there are lots of choices for “OBD2 speedometer.” Good luck.

    Since you don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a device such as Scan Gauge then

    Use google maps on phone or tablet with MPH / KPH options in the settings. It's FREE! Default maps on iPhone has KPH option as well. Android too.

    That's simple.

    If you want both MPH and KPH then MPH in the cluster and KPH in google maps.

    There are some free speed apps, you have to find the app YOU like.

    I tried to tell you earlier... If you don't want it, then use the math then write them down... like what @PondScum said.

    If not what you want, then nothing else we do for you since you don't want to pay hundreds of dollars on a device.

    I just multiplied the sign by 0.6. So 100 kph = 60 mph. or 40 kph = 24 (i just drove 25). For me it's way easier to do the mental math of Speed Limit Sign multiplied by 6, and move the decimal point over.

    I can't easily do the math in my head in the other direction.

    Maybe try calling these guys or another company that does overlays and see if they can do something custom for you. Looks like they may have a Canadian site that you can switch to also, Maybe that has Km/h on their product listing.

    Solved *if* you have the "Multi Informational Display" on your dash between the tach and the speedo.

    I was thinking about how it would be sweet if we could toggle a setting for the center screen on the dash (between the tach and speedo) to be kph or mph when I thought maybe I would go look. Took about 60 seconds to figure it out.

    Tab over to the far right, using the directional control on the right side of the steering wheel, to "Settings" then scroll down to "Units". You will have four choices: (1) mpg US, (2) mpg Imperial, (3) km/Liter, and (4) Liter/100km. Choosing either of these last two will convert your digital speed to kph and your gas/petrol consumption to liters.

    For anyone who does NOT have the small digital screen:
    To go the other direction you DIVIDE by 0.6 but like you said, harder to do in your head. So maybe try dividing by 6, then move the decimal over one place to the right.

    60 mph: 60/6 = 10.0 --> 100 kph
    30 mph: 30/6 = 5.0 --> 50 kph

    Gets a little trickier with number that don't divide evenly, but this isn't a science project. It's OK to simply get close.

    25 mph: 25/6 = 4.x --> 40 kph
    35 mph: 35/6 = (almost) 6.0 --> 60 kph

    Not even a little chance that the OP has a multi informational display in their 04 1st gen truck. :smack:

    I don't think his truck has middle display like 3rd gens do.

    His truck is 2004 which he has 2 round displays which are tach and speed.... 2 small displays for coolant and gas. That's it. He has knob for trip
