What’s up everybody! Soo I recently found some dog food stashed in my air intake tube from f**kin mice! And now every time I turn on my heat it blows out a smell of musty rats nest! any suggestions on how I remedy this problem or drop a diagram of the a/c vents so I know where to locate the intake for it and clear out a possible nest? Thanks!

Use a fine mesh, something with a ~.25"X.25" opening. I had a piece of expanded metal over mine, I'd guess the openings were a .25X.5 diamond, I couldn't even start to get my pinkie thru it, and still got a mouse in the cab this summer when camping. I'm sure he came in thru the cowl as the cabin filter was pushed down. I added finer mesh on top and no more issues. There is also a fresh air exit at the rear of the cab, below the back window. I covered that also. Not sure if a mouse could get up to it, but since I had the mesh...

Quick cleanout pull cabin filter out behind glove box and vac it all out (may be some mice in there still).
Pull the big plastic cover off the engine too and look for damage under there as they like to chew injector wires and bypass hoses - been there!

Mouse damage is a legit comprehensive insurance claim, although some will try to argue about it.
