New to the group, I have had a few Toyota Tacoma's but have not mounted a Ham Radio antenna in the bed, rail or on the rear of the truck. I will be trying to mount a Screwdriver Diamond SD 330 UHF base but wanted to hear what had been the best way to mount it and what mount is appropriate for this sort of antenna. I have beefed up the grounds from the bed to the frame with tinned braid straps to increase the ground field. The Rig will be a 857D with a FC50 matching tuner. Thank you. Bobcat47

    Welcome!

^ Those threads should give you lots of ideas and are a great place to bounce ideas off of other members. I just went with an NMO in the center of my roof for my install.
