Is there a *professional* mount for a bike that can mount it to the side of a camper shell?

    I saw this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hf3Tgwf7qLk

I'm building and overland setup and want something that I can mount to the side so I can keep all my gear in the bed.

I don't want to mount it to the top rack because it would be too tall.

Don't want to mount it to the rear as I want to be able to get access to the bed easily.

Looks like a good way to mess up your camper shell. Also, you're going to nick and scratch the truck's paint, putting a bike up there. I respect my truck too much for that.

Regarding rear access, I have a Rocky Mounts Backstage hitch rack. It takes about 10 seconds to swing it out of the way and have full access to the bed and I can pull my drawers all the way out. No need to modify and risk damaging the camper shell. I can also take it off and use it on my Subaru (easy liftgate access). I really like my Rocky Mounts rack, but I know Kuat makes a competing option, and I believe Yakima and probably Thule now also have swing-away tray-mount bike racks.
