Yea, not digging the lime green either.....or the TRD being stamped in the sheet metal, though it well help identify the posers. Honestly wish tacoma wasn't stamped into the sheet metal either.

What I expect from mainstream media, they all have it out for Toyota for some reason.

Maybe if I was test driving different cars and trucks everyday, I would probably not like boring Toyota’s either.

"The new TRD Pro starts at $47,150 with a manual transmission..."

Jesus. The MSRP on my 2020 MT was $45,279. I guess we now know what Toyota thinks forged UCA's, 0.5 front lift, and debossed bed sides is worth.

Was just going to say..."And $49,855 with an automatic"

Glad to hear the suspension upgrades did not differentiate from previous year, granted this is one slightly biased review.

I noticed that for the current or previous MY, Chevy is now stamping the Colorado TGs.

I suppose it is better than a badge or sticker, but like you, I wish it wasn't there.

I kind of like the Pro stamp, and better than the badge

that was one of the nicest reviews of a Tacoma I’ve read in years. Normally the reviews complain that it doesn’t drive like a car and then say a ridgeline has much better road manners. At least they put some off-road miles on it.

I was buying gas the other day next to a Pro Tundra, the bed side stamping actually did look pretty good.

Agreed. I'm a fan of quality sheet metal forming, so the stamp is better.

Thankfully, Toyota doesn't think that we're all legally blind.

Shame that they can’t or won’t fix the sh*ty transmission/ drivetrain.

There's truth to their gripes: the powertrain isn't great compared to the competition, the hood is way too high to see over in the mountains, and the seating isn't very comfortable.

But the Tacoma will outlast all the others while holding much more value, and it'll keep being the best selling midsize truck.

PS - I'd drive the lime green. Congrats to conservative Toyota for going with a wild color this year.

Ugh, love the wheels on the 22! Toyota has been on point with wheel design since 2020 IMO.

interesting. I’ve been waiting on that number to see how it compared to the TRD OR. I went ahead and requested an OR from my dealer, but would be happy with a Trail too.

Looks like the SR5 Trail Edition is more expensive than the OR, but don't think you could go wrong either way.

I saw this YouTube video last night of the 2022 TRD Pro Tacoma. The color really flops and changes depending on lighting conditions, but it still wouldn't be my choice.

Also, the fact that the red a-arms don't match the red springs is really bugging me.
