That looks sweet. My wife was just complaining that she hates sleeping in the back of the truck with two people, and I've been looking for an excuse to buy a welder

Gotta keep myself in check, step 1 is paint and tires...

God I love this look! I have to figure out how to mount the rear section of the seat. ATM I'm thinking of finding another OEM rear fender and cutting it down.

If it's truly a old m series trailer with it having rounded fenders it would be a m100. The leaf springs mounts look like the m series but I've never seen a flatbed one before?

I've got a trailer also...but this is better if the bike allows. Designed and patented by an MIT Doctorate for his dirt bike. City life. No room for a trailer.

Love my rack-n-ride carrier. Not sure what CB is being talked about though to have input whether it would work or not.

I'd 100% buy a small trailer if I were to do it again. The tongue weight sucks, I have beefy springs but I'd feel way better towing the bike. The big advantage is I can park anywhere at the trails I suppose.

I purchased a used equipment trailer basicly for the price of the new tires it had on it.
    20180310_094806.jpg
I replaced the deck with 2" oak, welded up some sides and used 1" ash boards for the sides.
    20190713_171713-600x800.jpg
It'll hold some weight. Mag lights so I will never have to lay on the ground to fix trailer lights again! Dutch doors are removable. It also has a 2" reciever hitch mounted on the front top rail for a winch. Front rail and wall is seriously braced.
20190805_184116.jpgit has a removable wheel chock, and tie down hooks every foot all the way around.

The day I picked up the Bonneville.
    20230318_144724.jpg
Low deck height makes it easy to load and unload stuff.
    20230318_154442.jpg
if you can weld then build your own the way you want it. I have a do it all trailer now. Beat up the trailer and not my truck.

I had the ultimate MX hauler. Worked great but honestly if I were to do it again I’d either put the bike in the bed or get a small trailer. Did a few long distance trips (1k+ miles) with it and the tongue weight was really noticeable even with the upgraded suspension in the truck. Ended up selling it when I got my Africa twin as there was no way I hell I was going to put a 530lb bike on it.

Those cons are pretty big imo. One reason i didnt look into them. Just more moving parts/failure points than a ramp style rack. Its also fairly heavy yeah? Like 70-80lbs?

Decent rack and i dont notice the tongue weight of my ktm on there. But my truck has always felt better woth some weight in it since i put the deaver springs on 11 years ago

Mag lights are a fuckin treat. Seems every time I use a trailer one light starts acting up, not with those

I wanted to do a cheap tailgate lightbar but my hobo freight trailer has stake pockets back there.

Sold my original 94 Harley saddle bags. Got $600 bucks for them. Used the money to buy some nice 8’ folding ramps, nice dust collector, foot pedal and high flow blasting gun for the cabinet.
