I don’t buy anything of value on FB. Not worth the hassle if something goes wrong with product or them. Another reason why I prefer friends/family or legit dealerships

If I wanted another bike from a dealership I'd trade it in, but they don't have anything I currently want. Might look in the Spring at an F900GS, but that'll depend on how much our new daycare bills fuck us up. $1595/mo just started up soooo we'll see about adding a payment on top of that. No one around here carries much in the way of used inventory, either. I'd probably end up in the Seattle area if I wanted to go used dealership route.

Yeah daycare is fun to spend money on.

Honestly it's cheap compared to a lot of places. Childcare is wild right now. In the metro areas of Washington you're paying $2500+. I work for a university and they slightly subsidize the cost for their employees so it's the cheapest in town unless you go to someone who runs an in-home.

Ya a few buddies at work are paying about that and it's nuts to me! Like I get it they take care of the kids and feed them but that's so much money!

So glad we are done with the childcare days. I think way back we were paying around 600 a week or so. I don’t recall, but good help isn’t cheap, and it’s more expensive when they’re younger

I might catch some hate for this one but…we have fucked things up in more ways than one.

It’s sad that it costs that much for substandard daycare here in the U.S.

    You cunt!

that bike probably runs better than the one I picked up.

I did spurge and grab the GS-911 and now my R1250GSA has a M100RR dash! Best $450 I’ve ever spent!

I can also use it to find out what’s wrong with my K1300 once I get it all back together!

Rode my buddies 2012 Goldwing today.

That was an experience. I've only got major seat time on my 300lb dual sport.

It's certainly not as much "fun" to ride, but still a blast on the highway. Every gear is the right gear with that engine haha.

I don't see myself ever getting one, still want an FJR ideally. Will be looking off season.

We spend 370/week for two kids at an in-home so it isn't too bad.

Another 2 years for the daughter to start kindergarten and then our boy has has a 3.5

I cheaped out and went the motoscan route. Either way though that or the gs911 are invaluable tools on modern BMWs. You can’t do fuck all without them

Agreed. We can't complain too much on it. They are homeschooling their oldest so they get some experience. Although I doubt it's as orderly as a regular daycare. Good peeps though.

But it doesn't give me anymore money for moto. Ha

Admittedly an FJR fan boy here. Reliable, reasonably priced, good parts availability, great Internet forums. When you start looking for one feel free to pm me for any questions.

I always wanted one, now I think it's just too big and heavy for me. Chose my bonneville for that reason, no regrets.

Doing the back half of the adventure ride today. It's about 390 miles and so far only one true trail and ya the bolt isn't for it but we took it carefully through and it made it haha. ATM we are opting out of doing the rest of the route since it's already almost 4pm here and we still have about 7ish hours of gravel and dirt roads to do. So gonna jump on back roads for a 2.5 hour drive to at least get to the camp site

Any bike can be an adventure bike if your balls are big enough.......
