I see @nd4spdbh already replied but thought I'd add my .02 anyway. Check out the S10 forums and try to determine the most commonly needed sizes. I bought a full shim kit and an awful lot of what you get will be of limited to no use with them. Using the FJR for an example as it's what I'm most familiar with, the most common shims tend to be from about a 1.70mm to about a 1.90mm. I just had my 2014 done at a tech day in VA a couple weeks back and all 16 shims are in that range once adjusted to 70% max clearance. Of the 16 total shims we moved several from one valve to another and only used 5 shims out of the shim kits we had at our disposal.

That was the case with my Versys as well, I was able to move most of them around and I borrowed a shim kit from a friend and just replaced the individual ones I used.

Got em from Monster Fairings. mid level pricing, but one of my friends was able to get me a decent discount and a free bolt kit, and helped me get it rushed along a bit.

Lol...I mean...if you didn't already tell her about them, who's to say you haven't had them for a while...

but it's probably best to be responsible and pay for the necessities first haha. The toys will still be there. Unless of course your bonus can cover it all...

Fuck y'all have been active this morning. Woke up to like five pages.

I would kill for a 20% sub rate. I think I sit at like 2 or 3% of my views are from subscribers?

That's going to be sexy AF.

The vid of him losing his shit will probably have more views than all his others combined
Even if he had the greatest CRF300 content, after that.....I would just watch and not sub. I assume that's how you get money?

I keep getting subscribed to every so often. I really don’t care about it. I didn’t go into it to make money or see how many subs I get. It’s more of a vid diary of what I have been doing.
If I was going into it full time then I would need to make some top notch content that people really want to see. It takes time

well as long as she likes something, whatever it takes!

I'm getting some serious Kylo Ren vibes from you right now... "I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the strength to do it!"

You have to get to 1,000 subs to get paid for views. At 500 you can start charging for "supers" and memberships (which I haven't utilized either, that feels skeezy to me) and then at 1,000 you get paid for views. Past 1000 subs, you're basically just increasing eyes (and hopefully views) on your content. In April I earned a WHOPPING $48.02 on about 8 or 9,000 video views. Also depends on what ad forms you allow (short, long, skippable, unskippable, mid-roll, or just pre- or post-roll.) and the type of content you make. Companies bid to buy your ad space and depending on your market segment and subject matter that can vary from $10/1000 ad views up to $25. It's all freaking voodoo for the creators, IMHO. I see numbers (I think right now it says $11.28 per 1,000 views) but that doesn't actually add up for my monthly total payouts, and I have no way to verify any of it.

Oh, and if you skip the ad the creator doesn't get paid, fun fact.

I might pick this KLX450R next week. Going to check it out with my AMA approved motobuddy test rider/mechanic tonight.

It has sensible shoes and a nice safe bright color way. Fits my needs perfectly as a novice gravel rally rider.
