Just curious, did anyone replace their motor mounts yet? I don't think I need mine replaced but living in the desert and 70k plus miles I can only imagine in the next year or so I might need to.
If you did, did you use OEM?
How long should the factory mounts last?
    Any thoughts in general.

I have not. However, there are products you can spray on or wipe onto rubber components to either rejuvenate them or keep them working well. If it isn't cracked, I'd say it is probably good to try some of that on.

The factory mounts seem to last forever unless abused.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Why would you think that they need to be replaced?
Just sold my '06 TRD OR AC. 127K miles. Original mounts. Driven in New England. No sign that they would be in need of replacement.
70K miles is nothing. Oxygen, sun, corrosion and abuse may hasten their demise. Desert environs really only provides oxygen & possible abuse.

I have never replaced a motor mount in any vehicle I have owned. That includes going over 200K in multiple vehicles.

I’ve never heard of this problem, but I don’t live in a desert. Scotty Kilmer raves about a rubber rejuvenation product, but I cannot recall the name.

I drive a lot and my 2013 hyundai ( I know not the same) needs them and it has 150k miles on them.

I just wanted to see if anyone hit a certain mileage and was like dang I had to replace the motor mounts.

I've never had to replace a TOYOTA motor mount. My longest owned ones are 16+ and 13+ loaded with miles or around 600k combined, and no issues.
However, since everything goes wrong with this 3rd gen Tacoma, I was wondering how difficult that task may turn out to be. Anyone know how difficult it is?

Dude here in AZ I've replaced so many motor mounts. Probably a dozen over the years. I've never really owned newer vehicles, but motor mounts are just another thing on the list. Maybe the rust belt has some hidden perks I've never considered, crazy that some have never changed mounts, maybe it's a vehicle specific thing

Not sure what Hyundai does but some motor mounts are fluid-filled with highly viscous stuff in there. Mercedes has been doing this for a good while. They work very well until they start to leak. Those, I have replaced many of. The Tacoma has solid rubber mounts. Nothing to worry about. They will tell you when they start to go.

Why? I have driven several vehicles over 200K miles and have yet to replace any motor mount.

My motor mount perch plate on the frame broke at the bolt holes. Both sides. Under extended warranty. Thing is, frame is not covered under this warranty. Does anyone know of aftermarket mounts for a 2019 tacoma 3.5 v6
    Thanks for any help.

They look like they bolt to the perch plates. My perch plates snaped off at the bolt holes.
