I’m comparing Michelin Defender LTX M/S and Continental TerrainContact A/T. I’ve had the defenders on other vehicles and always had good results. I’m very interested in the Continentals because they seem to promise better traction. I’m 99.9% on road with some off-road for hunting and dirt boat ramps. Anyone had both who could offer a comparison? Thanks. Size is 265/75-16, SL rating.

Have you considered the Cooper Discoverer SRX?

@BillyE Michelin will give a better quality of ride, plus Michelin has a $110.00 instant rebate currently running. Continental 60k mileage promise, Michelin 70k mileage promise. You should expect an A/T tire to be a little bit noisier.
