Hey brotha do you know what kind of weight the cab can handle I’ve seen rtt mounted on a prinsu rack and different roof racks do you know how much stress the roof can take I would imagine not very much before it became weaker with time, to bad those relentless fab bars are so heavily backordered the website says I’ve been looking for something soon everything is backordered for everything everywhere, covid made overlanding famous.

My KB Voodoo rack is only 60 pounds and it's steel. If you go with their aluminum one, it's only 40 pounds.

I ordered the upTop Overland Truss rack and I think its 40lbs... the mid height. And yeah, its still 5 weeks out... ordered it Xmax eve. Not the cheapest, but I liked the design and the weight. I was going to look at some local shops, but man, I just cant get down with the bent pipe look.

All-Pro bed bars are similar design to relentless, wider flat run with sharper bends. Low and regular height available. I put two cross bars between 3 bed bars to brace them together. It's definitely strong enough for any sort of RTT+gear setup, the bed sides will be the limiting structure.

    3x of these

2x of these I called to order so I could ask them to make one of the clamps a "+” shape to accept a brace from both sides.

I found three Front Runner bed bars on Craigslist for under $100. Worth checking it out.

I do not know the roof weight capacity, but it seems like a very top heavy and poor aero place for an RTT in a pickup.

Note on that design how little area the feet distribute the load on the top of the bed rail. This will cause high stress in those areas vs bars like Relentless that have huge feet to distribute the load across a much larger area on top of the bed rail.

I went with Avid Off Road for the RTT rack. Over engineered for the weight of my RTT but nice not having to think about it. The distribution of the weight goes to the bed rails which is much better than the systems that put it onto the inner rails.

I have the hooke road mid-height bed rack. It's a heavy bitch at about 100lbs, but feels damn sturdy, cost me about $400, supposedly rated for 880lbs static and 440lbs dynamic.
