    Not much really. Just touches.
First of all, this is regarding the 2017 SR5. I received the headlights today and got the installation mostly finished. I may have to uninstall the right front as I can't get the bumper to mate with the fender perfectly. Other than that, here are my findings. They seem to work as intended except I'm pretty sure sequential turn signals are on when those two plugs are connected. That's the opposite of what I expected. I know the DRLs are white on two switch settings and amber on two. I believe the "Turn On Sequence" only works when the headlights are set to Off. It's late. The Broncos just won their 4th in a row. I'll confirm all this tomorrow and provide more details.

Here's a question that may have been answered already. Why so many plugs??? There are two plugs that I don't need and two of the plugs I needed had male plugs connected already. I couldn't find them immediately. I thought I had the wrong headlights. When I finally figured it out and got all the plugs connected, I had 4 unused plugs hanging there. Why would two of the plugs I need have male plugs from the headlight assembly already connected? More later after my coffee.

OK - Installation finished. I re-installed the right front and got it to look almost factory. The fender flare isn't quite tight to the fender like it was. It's separated maybe 3/32" on both sides. Maybe someone can help me understand what I can do to get it tight again.
The "Turn-On Sequence happens when the lights are Off, DRL and Parking. It doesn't happen when On.
The DRLs are white if the lights are On or Off. They're amber when the lights are DRL or Parking.
    All that seem normal?
On those plugs again - I haven't seen an installation video that says a couple of the plugs you need are already plugged in and need to be unplugged in order to use them. Anyone point me to a video that shows that?
    Thanks y'all.

Hi, I also have an Sr5 with Morimotos and I can answer your questions

I assume you are using the fuse tap, which gives your headlights the super bright white DRLs when the stalk is set to "OFF", and enables the start up light sequence. The only way to actually turn your DRLs off, because right now you are always driving around with white or amber, Is by removing the fuse tap.

The amber DRL occurs when stalk is set to "auto" and "drl/park" and is completely normal. It's because SR5s have the turn signal tied to the DRL signal, so your tacoma thinks the turn signals are always on. You can change the amber DRL to White by going into your headunit and changing setting "Daytime running lights" to off.

You get sequential turns, disconnect those yellow connectors at eat headlight. When you connect them, it will change turn signal to the traditional "blink"

I personally drive around with stalk on "auto" so my DRLS are amber during the day; I'm a nacissist and I like standing out vs the other tscomas on the road. Plus I'm lazy, so when it gets dark, the lowbeams turn on and the DRLs change to bright white automatically
