Hello, was wondering if anyone here are having issued with the headlights not fitting properly, not being able to Align them horizontally with the screws in the back house and the most obvious one if anyone had tried other ways to make them brighter at night time. Which I think that has a lot to do that I can’t even see past 70ft on a dark road.
I tried reaching out to customer service but they want to send me a set that has same issues when there is now a 2nd gen that clearly states the fix issues of the current ones I have

Interesting, I thought they were really bright. But hey, I can't even see 20 feet ahead at night so... (SPYDERAUTO HEADLIGHTS)

IMO They suck big time as a company, don’t really reach out to you or really try to solve the problem. Known what is mess up? Gen 1 which is the ones I bought 2 months ago

They don’t Align properly, the adjustments for horizontal and vertical is a joke does not work. It feels like very cheap material in the back to deal with.
And the worst is the output on these headlights.
Long story short Travis, from Morimoto XB did not found that to be an issue.

If you see fitting it’s disgusting.
I work in a TOYOTA body shop collision. And trust me. They do NOT fit properly. They have issues. But oh wait. Let’s just take a big dump on everyone and release the “ GEN 2 “ which basically tells you they fix everything from the shitty gen 1

I will do everything I can to ether get a proper solution to this issue and if I have to take it to legal I will. Those people I talked to in Morimoto really gave me a bad experience.

From day 1 I tried working the issue with them I got nothing but shit as a response.

    I should have gonne alphax

I didn't have any of these issues with the gen 1s. Install was a breeze, total pnp and aligning them was simple. Also, companies always put out upgraded units...I mean, I am driving a 3rd gen Tacoma and any 1st/2nd gen person you talk to will say that was a step in the wrong direction.
