    Hey guys,

I just purchased Monroe Quick-Struts W/ OE Spectrum Shocks for my 1998 Taco 5-speed 4x4 SR5 . What do you guys think? I paid $226 with shipping. Is this a smart replacement? My shocks and struts are shot and I wanted to buy a kit to keep it straight forward without messing with the coil. Let me know your thoughts on Monroe Quick-Struts W/ OE Spectrum Shocks.

    Thanks,

    Montana

The Monroe’s are an ok shock and spring for what they are. If it’s a daily driver and stock then it’s a good choice.

I have them because I drive a ton as a daily driver.

I get mine from pepboys with a lifetime warranty and I get them replaced every 75,000 for free.

All you need to do is say they are worn out and you get a free pair. If you wait for the pepboys discounts
on installation you can get the struts installed for 125.00 for the set.

That’s what I do and I have the Firestone life time alignment that was 150.00 or so.

You have to find a good Firestone shop as some shops are no good. Look at google reviews first.
