These have already changed so much since I first launched and posted this so I'm going to rewrite this first post!

I've made this the first modular brake light so you can select 3 different styles of lights for your third brake and can switch up your design at any point down the road.. or trail. I've designed a Brake Light builder on my website to go along with the options, too! Eko Design Co Third Brake Light Builder

These fit 1st, 2nd, and most 3rd gens - 3rd gen dbl cabs are in the works!

This Third Brake Light will fit:
-Baja Designs Rock Lights (flush mounted)
    -S2 Style LED Pods
    -V2 KC Cyclone Pods
    all in one mount!

Reverse lights, AUX lights, Chase lights, Safety lights - endless possibilities and your light can change as your build needs change and grow.

For a more clean look, the BD Rock Lights are going to shine. They sit flush-faced with the mount and curve in all the right places.

If you need something with more umph behind it, the S2 style lights will bring the noise! I've left them with an exposed look which not only has a great appearance, but let's the lights stay cool in all conditions since they aren't hiding from airflow.

Sometimes you just want to change things up and stand out, for those times there are the KC Cyclones. Bright AF with tons of options and light.

Price ranges vary based on the configuration options and upgrades chosen.
Wig Wag flashers and remote fob controls are available as add-ons in the builder on my site.
Of course every light is fully waterproof and includes all needed hardware, gaskets, and instructions.

    **Offroad use Only :)

Thank you! Yes absolutely. The BD pods are STUPID bright! Currently I have all BD led pods about shining 2* higher than the bed, as apposed to being completely parallel with the bed to prevent blinding the individual behind you and that's still bright AF from any angle
My other 3rd brake light design(see pic below) does have an optional angled spacer that allows you to direct one of the pods down an additional 15* and I thought about making one for thes BD pods as well but I think it would look goofy having just one middle one facing more down in this particular design. I could offer the BD pods in the same design as my 1st third brake light design. Realistically I could make any pod fit and do have someone sending me GG pods in the next few days so I'll have those to offer as well!

Thank you! It came out great!
All red? What colors would you have?

I've got a mall crawler so I may just opt for the all red non-baja LEDs and go with the 1st iteration of your design. @sk8rjess

$80 for a 3D print? OP don't you know I have a midlife crisis to save for?
Are they at least bright enough to replace my $30 bumper mount flood lights (free to mount)?

$80 for a lot more than a 3D print and it's still cheaper than similar(though not for our truck) third brake lights.
People who purchase $30 lights aren't typically the type who would spend hundreds on lighting anyways lol.

On one hand your flood light is made to throw out a large amount of usable light out from you because it's a flood beam pattern, however you said it was cheap so the light output is likely subpar when compared to a decent quality flood light.
On the other hand these are Baja Designs ROCK LIGHTS designed to work as bright AF accent lights with no specific beam pattern and don't need to produce usable driving light further out from the vehicle as they produce close spread.
The trade off is that these are BD pods that are the top of their game so you're getting the brightest possible light in the smallest package.

These weren't made to compete with flood lights... BD has more expensive options for that :D

I misspoke, mine are spot. But anyway, what's the point of them being on the 3rd brake light area then? What are you meant to illuminate aside from the bed (which you would subsequently blind yourself peripherally)? They don't appear to rotate, so that knocks out port and starboard, so I was assuming in my post that the only option left is directly behind you..

Yes, a third brake light is made to point behind you. Third brake lights are for visibility which is why they are the highest up light on a vehicle, and these make you plenty visible.

Can you provide the Baja Designs part number? You said previously that these *should* work for a 3rd Gen... Any successes on that front you know of? I'd be willing to try and will probably order one from you soon. This is a cool design that rivals the MESO.

I don't know it off the top of my head, but they only offer one rock light.
This product was just finished and released in the last week or two and the only one who has one in their hands right now is the customer I designed this for so unfortunately not. I say should fit a 3rd only because I don't actually have a 3rd gen to test fit on, but the lights themselves are the same size. I do have one going out to a 3rd gen next week sometime though.

    Thanks :)

Cool. Well I went ahead and ordered one in the hopes that it does. You have any tutorials on the install and wiring into the stock harness?
